Warfare
This movie joins the ranks of such amazing and visceral films such as Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Full Metal Jacket, and more. It is extremely well directed and written, which is likely helped by the fact that co-director Ray Mendoza was there and experienced the events of the film himself in 2006. He relied on he and his fellow soldiers memories of the event exclusively to portray the events for their fellow soldier Elliott Miller, who lost his memory of the mission. The performances by the ensemble cast are absolutely fantastic and absolutely support the realism of the film. The cinematography and sound design are both so insanely well done. It is truly an amazing film.
