This film does everything it needs to. From an actually believable dialogue for teens to the cinematography of it. The handheld camera work in some scenes when we follow Tracy works really well and the colour palette changing throughout Tracy's psychological descent is genius here. Form and psychology are doing the same job and I feel it really makes you experience rather than just see what she's going through. Also, the film doesn't make Tracy's transformation look purely ugly, it's not here to tell you drvgs and wrong influences are bad. It almost makes it all look exciting at the start, then gradually shows it's faults and how it all ends up negatively impacting her.
