Before Sunset

so there’s this “open psychometrics” quiz that’s ridiculous but surprisingly accurate and after a million questions tells you what characters you’re like and what percentages. If you haven’t taken it I recommend it, it’s fascinating how much you’ll find in common with your results. Celine has been one of my top ones every time I’ve taken it and I’m just seeing these movies for the first time. I felt it in the first film certainly but there was something about the car scene where she is talking about love and how every bit of the romantic she was has left and her particular ideal situation of feeling loved but also not allowing attachment and just watching her on the verge of tears about it I really feel like I understood how I’m so much like her. I loved this one. A rare occurrence where I think I loved it just as much as the original. If less then only by the tiniest fraction.  When I first saw his ring my heart dropped.  Seeing that Julie Delpy, Ethan Hawke and Richard Linklater all wrote the screen play together made me so happy. What a beautiful thing to know such characters so intimately.
