Surf's Up

might genuinely be one of the greatest animated movies of all time. this takes me straight back to my childhood every single time, it’s so nostalgic.  the soundtrack? elite. literally shaped my music taste. this movie is just pure vibes, like it’s effortlessly cool. Chicken Joe is a legend. him and the jungle penguins absolutely carry.  and the documentary style? genius. the camera zooms, the awkward interviews, the random cutaways, the camera crew, it makes everything funnier without trying too hard. it’s funny, it’s weirdly heartfelt, vibey, and it has no business being this good. forever goated.
