Hal & Harper
Cooper Raiff has done it again , every time I think he can't do better than this he proves me wrong. Genuinely one of the most interesting filmmakers of this generation.
Raw and hard hitting throughout the show. At some points, you want to pause it and take a break because it's too overwhelming. They did a wonderful job in making us feel exactly what the characters are feeling.
A harrowing look into a family with issues. The show is both depressing and emotional, handles those moments real maturely and creatively. Does a wonderful job in showing how pent up emotions and feelings affect you and don't really leave you untill you try to actually address them.
One of the things I find very creative was how in the flashback scenes, they showed lili reinhart and cooper Raiff as their kid versions rather than keeping child actors. You could see even though they had to grow too fast for their age, they didn't really change that much.
Lili reinhart deserves every award she can get for this performance, really underestimated her but she proved me wrong. Despite the cast being filled with very strong talent, she steals the show in every scene she is in. Huge L to the emmys for snubbing her.
Hope they make season 2.
