Evil Does Not Exist

brilliant.... im taken aback by how beautifully shot this was. at first i thought it felt like a day-in-the-life vlog made by some artsy youtuber, but it's way more than that i think the title suggests that the characters in the film all have their own motivations that make sense in the context of their lives. it’s questioning what we even mean by "evil" in the first place. it feels like the film is trying to show that actions, even harmful ones, aren’t inherently evil—they’re just part of the human condition and natural cycles. evidently, Takumi has done nothing wrong
