“I like to say that if you’re seeing me, you’re having the worst day of your life” Man Jake Gyllenhaal crushed this role he makes my skin crawl. Probably one of the best performances I have ever seen. That shot of Joe on the stretcher looking up at Lou is crazy, and then there's a similar one with Rick, showing how Lou does not value those close to him any more than he values his enemies I think this movie is just so enthralling once it gets going, and it makes you so invested in the content Lou is capturing, which makes the viewer almost as bad as Lou and Nina, since we are the ones consuming the media with such fascination
