Watchmen

A revisit after seeing Zack Snyder post that he currently plays Fortnite so why not, I have read the graphic novel and even the follow up after my first watch many years ago before my rewatch and overall a story like Watchmen would be relatively difficult to land in mainstream Hollywood especially at a time when we came fresh off of Raimi's Spiderman and Nolan's bold begining of a caped crusader, part of me wants some sort of spin off film focusing on Rorschach and Nite Owl further just to establish more of their cinematic backstory, it's stylish, graphic and sometimes gratuitous almost what Alan Moore is usually like, overall it isn't bad especially comparing to the graphic novel and I think if anything it's more to encourage the casual audience to read that after watching almost 4 hours (I watched the ultimate cut with the black freighter segments) of alternative past where heroes are real, their dramas are real and Nixon got a 3rd term
