Avengers: Infinity War

“We’re in the endgame now.” rewatching this always takes me back to 2018. it’s hard to explain to people who weren’t there what this felt like. ten years of movies has conditioned us to believe the hereos would find a way. there was always a last-minute save, a miracle, a sacrifice that fixed everything. then the credits rolled. the silence in the theater was so deafening that i could hear my own thoughts. whatever you think of the MCU now, i’ll always be grateful i got to experience this. that’s the kind of moviegoing experience you spend years hoping to have again.
