Alien: Romulus

ARCHIE RENAUX, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!!! coming back to write a real review because I genuinely cannot stop thinking about how insanely good this movie was! saw this in IMAX and that was absolutely the correct choice and now I would like to see it in every format a billion more times. but what a stunning film both visually and narratively. like just an instant classic with such a phenomenal cast (obviously I already came in with favorites) (but I walked out with even more). incredible performance from cailee who I already adored but has proven her range and also a standout performance from david jonsson who excelled on every level possible and then some. I’ve felt very bored with many new movies in the past few years especially with so many films created with a streaming release in mind but this a movie that makes you say “MOVIES ARE SO BACK!” movies are my favorite thing in the whole wide world and all I want to do is to be a part of cool fucking movies like this and make films that make other people feel the same way. alien: romulus, if you have no fans, I am dead.
