The Matrix
Just learned that The Matrix pioneered "bullet time" cinematography—the slow-motion camera movement around characters—pretty iconic stuff. That made all the action seem very fun and creative.
Beyond its technical achievements, the movie definitely comments on AI, perception, and the nature of free will. One line in particular stood out to me: "Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself." Which is just so facts. You need that firsthand experience. So basically everyone should study something in enough depth so that they have some sort of true understanding of the world around us, or else you don’t really know anything.
