Scream

I purposefully took October 31st and November 1st off work for Halloween festivities and I was told that the most important day in our company’s history is going on November 1st and I’ll have to be there.  My immediate reaction was to say I took this day off for religious reasons and my boss asked if my family were goblins. I love Halloween and will always hold it close to my heart but sometimes the work comes first. I haven’t had a day off since thanksgiving and need a mental health day but the show must go on. There are rumblings that this important day could be pushed but I’m comfortable either way. Also it snowed 3” in 20min so the Halloween vibes aren’t fully there this year.
