Sentimental Value
The scene of their faces meshing together was perfection. It was like yes they’re each individuals but they are the same. The father and the daughters mirroring each other Nora was so much like her father and that made it difficult for her to be around him. And that house! I kind of felt like the house was a place Nora didn’t like to be in it made her uncomfortable maybe where as her sister had a fondness for it and wanted to even live in it. The line about their childhoods being the same and them turning out different is so good too. Nora serving as this lifeline for her sister that made her feel safe and complete is probably why she has a positive outlook on the house. Nora having to step into such a large role of an absent father and a semi absent mother perhaps shaped her life to struggle with intimacy and relationships. Ugly crying it was so good.
