Some people might find it hard to enjoy a movie like this but I admired it. I love the dewy lighting that this movie has to offer. It’s clear that Vincent Gallo has some issues stemming from his childhood from the start. Pushing away his “best friend”, pushing away Layla. His negligent parents led to his insecurity further leaving him angry at the world. I kinda like the ending showing progress, showing us the possibilities of what would’ve ruined everything.
