After Earth

I really enjoy this film for what it is, finding the coming of age story to be quite entertaining given the chemistry between Jaden and Will Smith’s characters. The action scenes are cool and I find the evolved creatures of earth to be pretty interesting in their own right. While many would say it lacks depth, I find that it absolutely succeeds as an enjoyable action film.
