Longlegs

This is my 4th rewatch and I continue to gain appreciation for this film and its nightmarish atmosphere. Excellently crafting a mood of isolation and looming dread, the movie never allows the viewer to take a breath; putting the audience in Lee Harker’s shoes a she unravels her terrifying past. I think Maika Monroe is profoundly good in her role and Nick Cage is legendary as usual. Honestly, every element of this film is executed well imo. I will always stand by this film, as I truly believe it to be one of the best horror films in recent years.
