undertone

After reflecting on the themes I perceived within this film, I think that I came to a very different conclusion than most others have and will. I think this is largely due to my Catholic upbringing and religious outlook, but I don’t feel the need to go into detail. From a technical level, this film is extremely atmospheric and well-produced. The sound design is fantastic and I love the focus that this aspect receives. Additionally, I think the concept is interesting and unfortunately relevant to current events. It reminds me a lot of “The Dark and The Wicked,” though this film is leagues ahead in every way. I think that the pacing is a bit sluggish with the conclusion in mind, though this is one of my only gripes.
