Dune: Part Two

GRABE. That's the first word that came to mind after finishing it. You can never go wrong with a Hans Zimmer score talaga. I think Denis Villeneuve has really outdone himself. From the musical scoring, cinematography, prod design, and ensemble?! All chef's kiss. I've only ever seen 1 Denis film (Arrival) but I think he's going to be my 4th fave director (next to spielberg) I didn't know anything about the franchise (except that it's Sci-fi lmao). I've never read the books nor watched the trailers, but I was easily hooked. I wasn't in the right headspace when I first watched the first film, but I already knew it would be good. Part 2 was great!! I thought it was going to bore me, but it completely surprised me by a LOT. It’s an incredibly immersive film that kept me on the edge of my seat, especially during the reveal of their ancestry.  Excited for part 3 i think I'm going to watch it on IMAX
