Mirror

*“Run, my child, and mourn not for poor Eurydice,  **but drive your copper hoop through the wide world,  **while in response to every step, *you hear the earth reply, its voice joyful and dry.”This film has a special place in my heart because it changed the way I approach all forms of art.  I still struggle to find the right words to capture what this film means to me. Through it, I recall my childhood; I recall moments of joy that feel eternal; I recall the loss I’ve faced. It makes me think about love—platonic, romantic, patriotic, etc.
