Oldboy

This one was so disturbing to me. For multiple reasons. One, I hate bugs. And the scene with the bugs crawling out of Dae-su’s body immediately made my skin crawl. Little did I know that wouldn’t even be the worst of it. Why does Park Chan-wook like scenes of teeth being pulled!? I had to look away.  What that being said, I really loved this!!!! The opening scene music started and I knew park Chan-wook was going to blow me away. The hallway fight scene is spectacular. His use of color, immaculate. His screenwriting, immaculate. The performances, immaculate. THE MUSIC, immaculate. Can’t get enough of the transitions either, he is so creative with it. I don’t expect anything less from him.
