I’m in love with this movie. It’s just a bunch of sex crazed, car crashing maniacs having sex and crashing cars. Also, I love the music so very much. Bravo David Cronenberg!!!! I wonder if this movie is a sign that he is sexually attracted to motor vehicles. David, did you fuck a car???? The people in this movie sure did. They need to get into DESTRUCTIVE CAR CRASHES in order to reach unmapped levels of pleasure. Flesh, the strange kink of a crash, the damageable metal that makes up the body of a car, the initial impact of a head on collision, the fiery explosion that ensues, it’s all so stimulating and erotic in a surreal way that only Cronenberg has the mastery to showcase through his freaky ass mind. James Spader certainly matches Cronenberg’s freak and was perfect for this film!! This is by far my favorite Cronenberg, don’t ask me why 🤫
