Fallen Angels

This never gets old. There’s always something new that comes to my attention when rewatching this beautiful film. It’s such a chaotic movie with a deeply emotional message about love, life, and loss. This is definitely my comfort movie and it never fails to put me in a better mood, even if it is very sad at points. There’s just so much to love about this film from the surreal cinematography to the awesome soundtrack. I also never fail to laugh at all the silly little things that happen and all of the expired pineapples in Wong Kar-wai’s movies. I adore the motorcycle scene at the end so much and I’m in love with all of the pretty and vibrant colors on display, most predominantly green and pink. The gun fight scenes are always a treat to watch, especially the one in the restaurant that happened because everybody hates Blondie for some reason. Also, this was the movie that introduced me to foreign films and for that, I am forever grateful.
