Prometheus

I've recently been super fixated on Alien because I started reading Alien Colony War but I realized I've never actually seen any of the films so decided that now would be a good time to start. I wanted to watch the chronologically because I always prefer it that way and just by this film I'm really glad I did because it completely sets up the future in the universe of Alien. I'm pretty convinced that Michael Fassbender and Anthony Starr are in fact the exact same person because what is Homelander doing here.. I personally thought the visuals in this film were absolutely stunning, I'm not normally a fan of films that are astronaut or space themed but this one's visual effects were so beautifully stunning that I couldn't help but love the ships exploding 😭 I think that the graphic nature compared with the emotional elements really ties the entire film together so nicely, the fact that they revealed Elizabeth was pregnant and Chris died right after they had an intimate scene was actually soul crushing in the most awful way but that's what I love in a film. Overall, this was an amazing way to start off my Alien marathon that I will get round to at some point and I'm actually so excited for the next few films.
