the color palate matched that sort of weary liminal space like when you’re in the living room and there’s no lamp light, just shroud of grey from the sun shining through the curtains and everything just feels kind of glum. Why did I never notice that this is a horror movie? I’ve made a lot of mistakes in life and top 5 is when the army considered my aptitude for learning languages high so they wanted to pay me to go to linguist school for two years in san Diego and I rejected that offer damn. but in the spirit of the film I will live my life knowing the outcome and embracing the tragic but beautiful opportunity to love.
