Tampopo

Fantastic. Had a massive grin on my face almost the entire time. Can’t decide if it’s a western, a Rom com or a hangout film but whatever you land on, it’s guaranteed to be one of the best films you’ve seen in the genre. Loveable characters, hilarious dialogue and comedic timing, paced excellently and filled with occasional sub plots and mini skits of sorts that range from hilarious, to absurd, to literal food porn, to heartbreaking. Perfectly put together and in the end it’s the perfect *recipe (haha) *for an undeniably great film. Please watch this if you can!! Choosing to believe this was the inspiration for Mm… Food (2004) RIP DOOM! 10/10
