The Brutalist
that whole Zionist/Israel subplot was so jarring, have no idea what to make of it. the more I think about it, the more it feels I might’ve gotten tricked into watching Israeli propaganda, especially considering they have a Zionist who relocated to Israel deliver the film’s final monologue.
An epic nonetheless, beautiful filmed and wonderfully paced—especially considering its runtime. Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce deserve Oscar nominations.
