Scarface
"The World is yours."
Brian DePalma's best. Up there with 'Blow Out'. Talking about artistic values, that might be better, but as a personal favourite and taking entertainment into perspective, I keep this above his all other works. One of my really loved films too. A man defined by his values, kinda fiddled with flaws but that is what makes Tony Montana such an iconic character. With such a drive, that no one is able to drag him down, and when one does, he just goes down. This might be the film which is like Coppola's level Serious and then be as entertaining as a Guy Ritchie film. I would've dropped a 4.5 on this but I don't know why this hit so goddamn hard during my train journey. So for this rewatch, this is getting amped up to a Full Bulldozer. Definitely worth a watch.
