Halloween
The score, the villain, the protagonist, and the setting all peak. Jamie Lee gives the perfect performance as the girl next door in comparison to her friends more free spirited personalities. A perfect capture of a bad thing occurring to anyone no matter if you live in a quiet suburban town evil lurks and may come for you one day and that’s what makes the film scary at its core.
