Bugonia
I found this the simultaneously incredibly unhinged and deeply thoughtful, a balance that is extremely difficult but that Yorgos Lanthimos knocks out of the park every time. The way the shots were framed between Teddy and Michelle was disorienting, but also functioned as a strong visual communication of what moment the balance of power shifted. I also thought that the social commentary being deeply unsubtle served a purpose as well - Michelle is an obvious caricature, but that makes the tone shift at the end much more effective.
