"White folks like the blues, they just don't like the people that play it." I found this film, the first non-MCU film I've seen from Ryan Coogler, incredibly stylish and surprisingly sexy. There were a couple sequences that made me sit up straight in my chair because of how immersed I was - every fight scene, of course, but also the sequence following Lisa/Grace as they cross back-and-forth between the Black and white sides of the street and the sequence where Sammie's music stretches through time.
