Nowhere
When you're doomed to live in this wicked world, everything's pointless and empty. Sometimes I just exist to trying to get through the days, like a lost shoe in the middle of the ocean, just dissociating from reality, waiting like a flickering lightbulb. Thinking, reflecting, every single second a void grows in me, and sometimes I wish I could live a little. It gets to a point where I see everything as a way to just get off thinking for a bit, existing and confronting life as it is. I see everyone around me, and I don't know man. I mean, I wish I could fall in love, have a genuine connection to someone, finding someone and stop thinking this world is fucked. Everything is so shallow and stupid nowadays.
I'm tired, every time is harder to express myself and my emotions, being human, connecting with people, cause what's wrong with people? Everyone seems so content playing their roles, ticking boxes, pretending like any of it matters. Because what's the point? Now, I just accept everything that comes my way, sometimes you just say “OK” and keep going, the idea that maybe I'm just going to go through a peaceful, lonely life is stronger. I tell myself it’s okay to settle for a lonely life, that possibly peace is found in solitude. And perhaps, that's right. But why? Potentially the secret: you distract yourself enough until you forget there’s nothing there. I don’t even know what I’m looking for any more. A purpose? A connection? Maybe I just want to stop wanting anything at all.
