Y’all wanna hear how friggin stupid I am?   I always do this.  I’m watching a classic FiLm and I’m unimpressed like 20 minutes in and I’m bartering with myself and with you (the 2 people who may read this) about how I’m going to give this classic film a 3.5 or 4 star.  45 minutes in I’m hooked.  Peak.   I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie handle more topics with so much grace and class and balls than this one.  It’s not a thriller or a mystery but hot dang I literally never knew what was coming or what would happen.   Frighteningly relevant, phenomenally acted, ridiculously influential.  Absolute cinema.  After a rewatch, this really might be going top 20 for me.  Holy.
