David Fincher, please come back. Sometimes we need to learn to stick to our strengths. Directing is not Aaron Sorkin’s strength. He undid all of his good work as a screenwriter with terrible directing. Did he even watch the first movie? This movie had none of the finesse, the vibes, the gritty, fun, sexy quality. It was just blah. There were little to no artistic choices made. And the ones that he did make? Inexplicably bad: The black and white flashbacks? Terrible. The random cuts to the feet of January 6th protesters? Awful. The weird romantic tension between Jeremy and Mikey? Forced and unnecessary. This movie got a few stars because overall the story is interesting, but executed poorly.

The Housemaid for Brunettes

Some really great chewing gum acting happening here

I dig it.
