Poor Things
On the second watch through every time I felt like the story was losing me the acting from everyone and the production got me right back in my seat. Love the departure from Yorgos minimalist approach to story telling and this is his most fun so far. Gods tragic story hit more, I think I was just so enamored by everything I was seeing that it was hard to grasp what happened to him. Also cute how Bella really tailored after him in the best ways
Emma is doing some of the craziest acting I’ve seen before but goddamn does Mark Ruffalo just steal his scenes so often. The greatest thing about 2023 was taking the two “well actually 🤓” guys from marvel films and letting them be normal good actors.
