Weapons
I do like it, I don’t love it.
While it does have some strong subtleties of the whole school system and recent shooting in the US and carries some heavy images, I couldn’t help myself but laugh out loud at some of the serious moments especially towards the 3rd act
I do get the high scores that it’s getting but a 100% on RT!!!! It has become a trend now where everything flashy that comes out or a movie of a longtime franchise comes out it immediately is the BEST or it’s given it’s own -EST suffix
Zach Cregger is still 2 for 2 in my eyes where with Barbarian it was a breath of fresh air and i hadn’t seen something like that in ever however with this film i don’t think it surpasses his debut in anyway whatsoever
Finally, i would recommend watching it to anybody, but it’s best watched with family or friends
