Alien: Romulus

I’m gonna say it… this is my favorite movie of the Alien franchise. That is not a diss to all that came before because the OGs (and Prometheus/ Convenant are good too) but this movie takes my favorite parts of each of the previous films and meshes them into one. We have stunning cinematography, characters we care about and can root for, we have awesome practical effects, xenomorphs, and the freaky ass xeno-human hybrid thing. It’s tense, and more than a few jump scares here are really effective. I LOVE this one and hope we get a sequel from Fede, though I would like to believe that our surviving characters get their happily ever after 🥹
