Hard Boiled

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS PEAK! I don’t think I’ve seen so many explosions in one movie! It was so action packed, you get hooked in immediately with the first action sequence that takes place. And my god was it insane. Absolutely shit loads of explosions and bodies getting ripped through with bullets! Even when you think it’s over there’s more guys that come in all guns blazing (metaphorically and literally). Probably some of my favourites scenes though had to be the motorbikes being shot and set on fire, what can I say I’m a simple girl who gets excited when vehicles explode into flames! Something Hard Boiled does so well, on top of the action, is adding emotional depth to the characters. I feel like the stoic, hard man type is becoming too common in action movies so seeing the characters actually be human in this was refreshing
