This movie makes me so fricken happy. From the beautiful English countryside the absolutely stunning and amazingly historically accurate costumes everything about this movie fills me with joy! The colors of the movie are so gorgeous and compliment one another beautifully they also show how things from the regency era were not as old and dirty looking as they are now and once had amazing color beauty and grandeur. I could literally talk for hours about how happy the costumes make me (trust me I have) the flowy dresses over colorful petticoats and dresses that were recreated from real ones in museums I could seriously go on forever. One more thing to love about this movie is the humor is awkwardly hilarious and brings so much to the movie. So yeah I recommend this movie 100% it’s an amazing way to get into period films and just a great film to watch over and over.
