Jaws
If you know anything about me, you know I absolutely love sharks. It’s only fitting, then, that I finally got around to watching the movie that slandered my favorite fish. Ignoring the factual inaccuracies, it’s really an amazing film. The cinematography really stood out to me, each shot is truly spectacular. Love the sharks they made for it too, they looked great despite their well known malfunctions. Acting is awesome to! And of course, the soundtrack is a banger. It really earns its impact on pop culture in every way. It builds tension beautifully and each interaction with the shark feels earned and never overdone. I just wish the initial public perception of this film hadn’t caused such an increase on shark hunting and culling. Fire ending though.
