Sinners

I really liked how they gave you an hour to settle in and get to know all the characters. It’s not like other horror movies where people start dying within 15 minutes but you barely know their names so you don’t care. Lots of inconsistency at times, like why Michael B. Jordan has access to modern weaponry in 1932. Also there was a group of Native Americans hunting the main vampire dude at the beginning and I thought they were going to play a bigger part but they got like 30 seconds of screen time. It would have been cool to add on the their story’s and maybe put some of their history into the “curse” (I don’t know how they characterized the vampires in the movie) but they didn’t and I was disappointed. Also maybe I’m stupid but if your having the same actor play two different characters at least stick to the color coded clothes that were originally established. One twin wears red, the other wears blue. Why are they wearing the exact same outfit for an hour of the movie?? They have completely different storylines too I was SO CONFUSED on who was who. Other than that, a beautifully shot an executed movie. And even if it sucked, Hailee Steinfeld is in it. 10/10.
