Did I just stay up and watch Wonder Man all night. Yes. Was it any good. Yes! A surprise package from Marvel that doesn’t feel apart of the MCU. It doesn’t get weighed down by the broader picture and stands alone as a solid project. A tale of a man who never had friends, but finds one for life, someone who has a good heart but has so much baggage that he hides away and doesn’t confront, slowly unraveling himself and finding himself emotionally. The message is on the nose in this but it’s affective. It’s a strong project in the visual standpoint and the leading roles of Yahya Abdul Mateen II and Ben Kingsley make for one of the best duos in the MCU all together. I would love to see them delve more into this story, and gradually expand Wonder Man into the larger scale of the cinematic universe. Final Review: 7/10 or 3.5/5

“Jingle Jangle eee eee eee eee”Despite having some gnarly and disgusting brutal yet epic kills and practical effects, I found this to just be a fine release. A simple story of a monkey who has lost his mind, going from a loving and fun chimp to a murderous threat. I wish we could have spent more time with normal Ben as it was only one or two scenes to really get us to resonate and feel bad for him, as at the end of the day, he isn’t himself and it’s not actually his fault at all. The same can be said for our main human roles, they didn’t get me to really care for the characters other than Lucy really. I will say, there is some style and sauce to this films direction and set pieces, they do a good job with the lighting and cinematography enough to make it work with the films plot and actually make Ben a threat even more. Despite the story being simple, it is affective though, as if you want to just switch your brain off and watch a slasher type film, you will probably enjoy this one! First of all, where has Danny Dyer gone, because his acting as of late is some of the worst in the industry, but he is genuinely incredible in this. Human Traffic is an exploration into Club Culture, 90’s atmosphere and vibe, loving each other, exploring sexual anxieties and paranoia in the world. It’s a deep routed message bottled up in a fun experience of a film. I was genuinely surprised by how incredibly well shot this was, with camera work and shots that bring the psychedelic feel. The narrative with breaking the fourth wall and having sequences that are in dreams were a smart creative process in this that add its own style and character on its own. This was a really enjoyable and hooking 99 minutes that I’d watch again! Final Review: 8/10 or 4/5

Honestly as funny as the first, but with less substance to the plot. Final Review: 2.5/5 or 5/10
