About Time
About time may actually be the most beautiful film I have ever watched. Im not talking about visually or the cinematography of this, simply the most important and incredible story i’ve ever witnessed. I don’t think a film has ever left a mark on me so much, changed my philosophy and perspective on life as much as this has. I went into this thinking it would be a romance story, and how time travel affects it, but no this was next level, this was how beautiful a relationship can become while going through life. Not only does it show the connection between man and wife, but relationships with family members and friends, crucially highlighting the relationship with his father which was the most gut wrenching part of this film. About time single handedly is the greatest story of life, showing why you should and need to value every second you have on this earth, make sure you take everything in when you can, and to live a life that you can look back on and be grateful. I feel like i wont be able to live my life anymore just coasting and wasting my breath doing useless stuff and wasting my time, but rather taking in what I have and be thankful. Honestly what a fantastic gift this film is.
