Bottoms

Maybe not as funny as the trailers might have you believe - in that most of those 'burst out laughing' moments in the film were present in them - Bottoms is still a really good time. Between what were the funny moments and just the overall bloodiness of it all, the film marks itself as pretty unique from the run-of-the-mill straight-to-streaming comedy films we're so frequently subjected to. Unironically better than Fight Club in that it's funnier, gayer and (to me knowledge) lacks a wife-beater in its cast. Felt good to return to teen-fun after over a month watching things that don't pack that unrelatably-relatable punch so common in films like these.
