Superman
You can say that Superman is an insanely busy film. You can critique the fact that almost every emotional beat in the film is undercut by comedy. The one thing you can't do, though, is imply that this isn't the most Superman Superman film to ever grace the screen (sorry '78-ers).
Corenswet's Supes, much like the character's first appearances, is a champion of the oppressed, a savior to all mankind—no Jesus imagery necessary—and you don't even need to read into the war, bearing a remarkable similarity to Israel's genocide on Gaza, that serves as one of the driving forces of the film, to realize that. No, the moment that it clicks for you is the scene where Clark rescues, of all things, a squirrel.
