Only Friends

I would like to spend some words on Only Friends (even if nobody would give a fuck about it) because it honestly surprised me so much and i didnt think it would at all when i started it. You get immediately hooked on the story the moment you start watching it and i absolutely love how all the characters go through A LOT throughout the whole show and nobody stays completely static and everyone IS COMPLEX. Sand and Ray were my absolute favorites and i would die for them. Their relationship is not a healthy one but they are made for each other, they saved each other and it works fine for them even if its not the norm. Its crazy tho how in the end, the character that i pitied more and the one for whom i felt bad was BOSTON !!! After i literally wished him death for like 10 episodes but thats the part that i enjoyed more, because it shows how good the overturning of the story was. Boston was truly in love with Nick but he genuinely didnt comprehend how to love him, how a person is in love with another, he didnt understand his own feelings. Boston is alone, he doesnt have friends outside of Ray, Mew and Nanchaeum and nobody ever actually cared about him, but Nick did and he noticed that but he didnt know how to give everything back. Nick wanted, rightly, exclusitivity but Boston didnt understand how that even works and you can see that when he says that Nick has his heart and feelings and the others dont have that so, he can hook up with random people while being in a relationship w him, but theres no ill intention in his words and I honestly was very let down when the thing between Boeing and him happened because i wanted Nick and Boston to work out but it just wouldnt be possible and thats so realistic, the feelings being there in both parties but them not working out. The character of Nick honestly hit too close to home: that one person who is naive and always believes that the other person could change and that loves with all his heart and being. I love when media are actually realistic and dont give always a happy ending for certain couples even when the watcher wants that so bad and Only Friends was just too good at doing that and at showing unhealthy and flawed relationships and complex situations. Mew and Top were actually so cute and i agreed with Top having a second chance because i truly think that he didnt want to do that and he actually regretted that (ForceBook i didnt know your game). All the actors were so good and i think that its also because of them if the show came out this good (Khao is so good at breakout scenes like that man CAN CRYYY)
