Blade Runner 2049

If only I had watched the original before this on my first watch, but either way I’m here, and wow this movie is from the gods. Literally I’m convinced Denis Villeneuve is a god at filmmaking. One of the most beautifully shot movies of all time without question and even though I feel like I say that a lot I really mean it with this one. Beautiful story about that need for significance and love. Taking what the first movie did and expanding on it masterfully. Ryan Gosling’s best performance I’ve seen, and Hans Zimmer cooked again, obviously.  My favourite movies are the ones that literally transport me to their world. This does that and then some.
