Silence

By far Martin Scorsese’s best made movie. Every second of this is handled with the utmost care. Every shot and line is perfection. On top of that every performance is so astounding. Well I am not a religious person this movie hit me and hit me hard. I took away that being who you truly are is extremely important, and the length that you go to maintain that is just as important. The scene were Rodriguez gives in to the Japanese command, is by far one of the best made scenes in all of cinema, or at least from what I’ve seen so far. This movie was truly incredible and deserves the respect of everyone. This should definitely be talked about more in Scorsese’s filmography. What an experience this was, I hope it makes me feel the same on my inevitable rewatch of it.
