Freaky Friday

Yo why does this movie actually slap so hard?? Was not expecting myself to like this movie so much but for some reason, it resonated with me in so many ways. It’s by no means Oscar material but this movie hit all the right notes for me. It’s so funny, charming, sweet and wholesome—even had me on the verge of tears at some points. Besides Anna and her mom, the other characters get their respective arcs complete by the end of the movie. Though the love arc between Jake and his mom was a little sus ngl haha. The movie has a great message that hits so close to home about being selfless, and being more empathetic and understanding of other people’s POV, especially between mothers and their daughters. The sequel probably won’t be as good as this but at least we’ll get to see Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis together on screen again! Here’s to a Freakier Friday!
