bro, jordan peele is actually a menace for this one. i went in thinking it was just gonna be a regular slasher, but i left needing a therapy session and a new pair of scissors. 4.5 stars because the tethered versions of everyone were straight-up nightmare-fuel - lupita nyong'o deserves every award ever made for that voice alone.
the only reason it's not a full 5 is because i spent the last 20 minutes trying to use my phone flashlight to figure out the logistics of how they all got matching red jumpsuits underground. like, is there a subterranean fashion nova i don't know about? anyway, im never going near a beach or a hall of mirrors again. highly recommend, but maybe don't watch it alone if you value your sleep
