duuuuuuuude those special effects!!! 2020 could never flips the story of Orpheus on its head through the addition of Death, her aides and the tribunal making the underworld seem like a place of business with barters and trades rather than a place of torture which is different for sure.  can’t recommend this or the other Jean Cocteau Beauty and the Beast enough. I need to check out his other works this is great example of how cinema melds poetry, history and writing while using the format of film to portray it.
